Hampton Dellinger today was officially sworn in as Special Counsel of the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC). The Honorable Carolyn N. Lerner, former Special Counsel and now a judge of the U.S Court of Federal Claims, administered the oath of office. Mr. Dellinger was confirmed by the U.S. Senate last week on February 27.

“I want to thank Karen Gorman for her help during the confirmation process and for leading the agency as Acting Special Counsel. I also want to thank my predecessor, Henry Kerner, who left OSC on such strong footing," said Special Counsel Dellinger. “As Special Counsel, I look forward to further advancing OSC's important mission by working with Congress, stakeholders, and the agency's talented career staff to protect federal workers and address governmental misconduct."
