The law authorizing OSC to demand agencies investigate possible wrongdoing based on whistleblower allegations expects an agency response within 60 days of OSC’s referral. While the law allows OSC to grant an extension of that deadline for an agency to complete its investigation, going forward, OSC will post for each and every matter the type of allegations that have been referred for investigation on an agency-by-agency basis once 60 days have elapsed. Below please find open whistleblower disclosure investigations where OSC determined there was a “substantial likelihood” of wrongdoing, referred the allegations, and is awaiting a final report.
